What a great idea!!

When most people think of indoor air, they are thinking of comfort. The heating and cooling affects of the air. However there is more to air quality than that. A recent study of 10,000 American households across the county revealed that 96% of homes had at least one type of Indoor Air Quality issue. These contaminates included volatile organic compounds (VOC), carbon monoxide, radon, tobacco smoke, pollen, dander, bacteria, and fungus to name a few.

There are threes ways to improve IAQ:

  • Source Control - Removing the source causing the pollution into the home.
  • Improved Ventilation - Bringing fresh air into the home from the outside.
  • Air Cleaning - Installing specialized air cleaners into the home such as UV lights and HEPA filters.

You and your family deserve a clean and healthy home environment. So do yourself a favor and reduce circulating the three elements in the chart to the left and improve your homes heating and cooling efficiency.
